Non-EU family members of European Union citizens may have the right to reside legally in Spain by applying for the Residence Card for Family Members of EU Citizens (Tarjeta de Residencia de Familiar de Ciudadano de la Unión).
This residence card allows eligible family members to live and work in Spain while accompanying or joining their EU relative who is exercising free movement rights in Spain.
